BH MODELS OV-1 Mohawk Twin EP ARF Airplane w/Oracover
The OV-1 Mohawk has the distinction of being the first turboprop aircraft operated by the US Army in its role as an observation plane. Its proportions make it ideal as a model and BH Model has re-created this unique aircraft in an easy-to-fly model.
The OV-1 uses two modest-size brushless motors for excellent flight performance, and it has a tricycle landing gear for easy ground handling. The factory-applied Oracover heat-shrink film has printed details for a stylish appearance.
The removable wing features a symmetrical airfoil.
The Mohawk features balsa-and-plywood construction, fiberglass cowl, painted pilots, installed canopy, separate decal sheet, and hardware. The illustrated assembly manual will guide you through the final assembly over a few evenings.
