Tamiya 1/700 U.S. Navy Fletcher CI Cushing DD-797 1/700 U.S. Navy Fletcher CI Cushing DD-797 from the Waterline Series. Kit depicts warship as it appeared in WWII. The model is of the portion that is above the waterline. It can be placed on a flat surface and appear as it would on the ocean. 1/700th scale permits collecting large numbers of these models using relatively little space.

More Information About the 1/700 U.S. Navy Fletcher CI Cushing DD-797

Total of 175 Fletcher Class Destroyers were produced in all. Tamiya now releases the latter version. Every characteristic feature such as a different bridge structure and armament have been accurately reproduced. This model will be released in conjunction with the U.S. Navy Battleship BB-63 Missouri, which were both present in Tokyo bay for the Japanese surrender in September 1945. This destroyer can be the perfect part of a WWII naval diorama.
