4120/05 - Great motor - Great price Review by Painlesstom
I bought one of these 6 months ago, and crashed the first two planes I had it on (learning stage and totally my fault). Both crashes were nose first, one on asphalt, the second on dirt. After replacing the prop adapter from the first crash it was back in service, motor was fine. It's on my Big Stick 40 now and has turned it into a mild 3D performer with 2700 4s and 11x7 APC prop. 10 minute flight time. Love this motor! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uBHJkKcyno (Posted on 6/30/14)
Hangar 9 Sopwith Review by gpocruiser
Got this on sale and had it laying around when I decided to put it in my Hangar 9 Sopwith I got used. Tried it on 3 cell and didn't have enough to get off the ground. Put two 5 cell 2200mah in it with a 14-8 prop and she flew very nice on the maiden flight for me. Put a 16-4 wood Xoar prop on it and it flies and slows down for landing nearly perfect and looks great too. Flew for 11 min and still had 500mah left from 4400. Not too bad for a giant 61in biplane. I have a 60 size Sportsman Aviation Waco I will buy another one for. So far it has been a great and efficient motor at a great price.

Great motor Review by azzir
When I decided to build my first giant scale electric with the Model Tech Super Cub, I asked HP if this was the equivalent motor to the one recommended in the manual and got a speedy, affirmative reply. This motor is equivalent to a 40-50 two cycle glow, and at the price I paid (39.95) an excellent bargain! I snapped one up and never looked back. It was a drop in fit and flies my Cub with authority on 4 cells. (Posted on 1/28/12)
not enough info Review by nastydog
bought one of these motors and it seems to perform well but the "owners manual" provides little info as far as prop selection and what the motor is equal to in a gas motor. The sales people in the store I bought it at knew nothing at all. I learned more about it at my flying field. (Posted on 12/17/10)
