All of the fast and affordable FHSS-2 receivers from Airtronics are compatible with the MX-3X. So, when you're running a sport truck or "for fun" vehicle, aftermarket receivers are available at some of the most affordable prices in the industry today. And, because we're using FHSS-2 and FHSS-3 technology, the radio has very long range and is compatible with boats and cars - even 1:4 scale!

Items Required, But Not Included:
Transmitter Batteries: The transmitter requires 4 'AA' Alkaline batteries. Conversion to rechargeable batteries is easy and affordable with the Airtronics 95054z 6-Cell Ni-MH battery pack and the Airtronics 95034 110V AC Dual Charger. Alternatively, the transmitter can be powered using a 2S Li-Po or 2S A123/Li-fe battery pack. DO NOT USE A 3S Li-Po!
Receiver Battery: The receiver's Nominal Input Voltage is 4.8v ~ 7.4v, therefore, the receiver can be powered using a 4 Cell to 6 Cell Ni-Cd or Ni-MH battery pack or a 2S Li-Po or 2S A123/Li-Fe battery pack. DO NOT USE A 3S Li-Po!
Servos: No servos are included. Analog or Digital servos can be used. We recommend using Airtronics Digital servos that are within the specification range required for your model.
