Don't know why they call it short range, fly's great in urban park with many planes in the air. I fly park flyers and this rx fits great and has plenty of range. (Posted on 6/9/11)

I bought this receiver because I needed a small one to fit in my 50mm jet and all I can say wow. I dont know what the range is but it works great and not one problem yet. I was once a Spektrum user but Airtronics is the way to go. (Posted on 5/15/11)
800 Feet and better ! Review by Johnny

Hey All,
I replaced my GWS nano 6N receiver with the little RX60 2.4G Park Flyer FHSS-1 short range receiver. And I can tell you the GWS states 1000´ range and it can fly every bit of it. Well I swapped receivers and flew normaly first time out even thru the "Futaba Zone" where many a Futaba receiver and radio go crazy and no problems noted. I flew my little S-2 foamy bi-plane as far out as I could see it and as far up until it almost disappeared and no problems. Of course here in Texas we are in the wide open spaces but still thats with Cell phones on the flight line, microwave in the pits, WiFi next door at the local farmers house. and Broad band over Power Lines. Also I did the bind with my RDS8K and flew and my SD-10G and flew. Excellent performance.

Keep up the good work guys !
