Battery hatch Review by OldNEET
Rating
This is very nice and easy flying plane with Power 52, 80A ESC and 5s 4500mAh Li-Po. As some mentioned before, the covering color tone is too dark and seems a little bit brittle but good for the price. I took off the whole plastic canopy part and modified as a battery hatch with four pairs of magnets. It is much easier to access for maintenance too. I suggest the manufacturer not to glue the canopy so that it could be set as fixed or removal. (Posted on 4/15/14)
Color of A6M3 Review by E

Really nice job on the build but the color of mine is much darker grey than either picture on site depicts. I mean several shades. Grey like a F-190. Still nice detail on covering. Bought a 60 size electric for it but may go gas since the battery bay needs some modifying. As a Zero I'm sure either way it'll fly well. (Posted on 2/6/14)
Excellent flyer Review by CJ

I really like this plane. I just ordered another one after my first VQ Zero had a spectacular midair with another plane at a Warbird event. Since all Zeros need extra weight in the nose I chose a 61 two stroke for the engine and it was fast. My original Zero had mechanical retracts with the struts and before I installed them I took the time to reinforce the landing gear blocks and they never gave me a problem. This plane flies great and looks good in the air. A lot of bang for the buck. (Posted on 1/20/14)
Battery Compartment Review by YModeler
Rating
It is very nice flying warbird. Hobby People has the electric kit for it, and I built this one as a electric plane. The manual has a section which demonstrates how to install the electric motor. However, it does not show how to build a battery compartment. This will be a big problem for the average modelers, and the manufacturer needs to change the design. (Posted on 10/11/13)
