This is an Academy 1:48 P-40C Tomahawk Plastic Model Kit. The P-40C Tomahawk is an early model of P-40 series and the when it was exported, it was called as Mk.II B. Its first flight was done on April 10, 1941. It was equipped with a new fuel supplying system and the radio equipment so it could bring much more fuels by 134 gallons, which finally enlarged the fighting range.

The P-51 Mustang, designed in 1940 after Great Britain requested. Mustangs served in nearly every active combat zone, including the Pacific where they escorted B-29s from Iwo Jima to Japan.

P-40M, version generally similar to the P-40K, with a stretched fuselage like the P-40L and powered by an Allison V-1710-81 engine giving better performance at altitude (compared to previous Allison versions).

The P-47N - the last variant produced - was initially developed to escort B-29 bombers during air raids over Japan. The most distinguishing feature of the "N" variant was its in-wing 50-gallon (190-liter) fuel tanks, which extended the aircraft's range by 2,000 miles (3,200 km).
