Darn, I thought I proof read my review Review by Pogo

When doubling up these batteries for extra capacity, (4400 mAh in this case), use a PARALLEL connector. When doing this with motor gliders be sure not to run the motor for the entire flight. Shut it down frequently, look for thermals and let the motor cool before you start it up again. Even if your motor has plenty of air flow around it you run the risk of burning it up. I have an old brushed motor that says right in the instructions to limit battery size to 1000 mAh in order to avoid this problem. (Posted on 6/9/14)
Good for brushed motors Review by Pogo

I have a few old electrics with brushed motors that originally flew with seven cell NiMH packs. Even though these packs were a nominal 8.4V I find that the 7.4V 2200 mAh HobbyPeople packs are adequate to fly these planes. They also weigh less and have greater capacity. For longer flight times with my motor glider I can double them up with a series connector or when I'm ready to try an EDF or 3-D plane I can hook them up with a series connector.
I appreciate that HobbyPeople has standardized on "T"/Deans Ultra connectors as I hate dealing with every manufacturer's different/Aardvark plug.
My batteries have been very reliable so far but I always balance charge them at 1C.
I'm giving them four stars because they are identical to the 2200 mAh 3S packs (minus one cell) and sell for six dollars more, (but they're still a relative bargain). (Posted on 6/9/14)
