This is a Hobby People Sand Storm 2WD RTR Buggy with 2.4GHz Pistol Grip Radio, 6-Cell NiMH Battery and Charger. This unique high-performance sand rail buggy from Hobby People features a clean durable design with a strong lightweight metal frame that is ready-to-run and ready to hit the dirt quickly! The HP Sand Storm comes out of the box fully-assembled with a 2.4GHz radio installed. Just charge the included battery pack, install your three 'AA' batteries into the transmitter and it's ready to go!
The HP Sand Storm features adjustable independent suspension with oil-filled coil-over shocks, a 540-size brushed motor with cooling fan, 7.4V ESC and a 6-cell 2000mAh NiMH battery. Power is transferred to the ground via a planetary differential with slipper clutch. The battery compartment is easily accessible from the bottom of the chassis, so there's no need to remove the body or roll cage. The chassis is completely countersunk and features aluminum side rails, skid plate and roof plate. This is no run-of-the-mill off road buggy!

*Technical Note: If you wish to run LiPo batteries with the HP Sand Storm, it is highly recommended that you purchase the HP LiPo Low Voltage Detector (#143800). The ESC that is included with the HP Sand Storm does not have low-voltage detection for LiPo batteries and is not programmable.
