Ball Bearing Metal Gear Micro Digital Servo

This is an LHS Electronics LS-11D Ball Bearing Metal Gear Micro Digital Servo. LHS Electronics servos feature high-quality components and construction, along with the performance found in other more expensive servos - all at an affordable price. This 11 gram micro servo is best suited for park flyers, small foamies, small glow aircraft and any other application that requires a servo of this size and type. It's well suited for any aircraft that requires a 9 gram micro servo, and because it's digital and features ball bearings and metal gears, you'll benefit from the faster transit time, higher torque, stronger gear train and all the benefits that digital servos provide, not the least of which is you can use them with high frame-rate receivers, such as the Airtronics FH3 series of receivers.

Specifications:

• Torque at 4.8v: 31oz-in (2.2kg-cm)

• Torque at 6.0v: 35oz-in (2.5kg-cm)

• Speed at 4.8v: 0.12sec/60º

• Speed at 6.0v: 0.10sec/60º

• Weight: 0.39 Ounces (11g)

• Dimensions: 0.91 x 0.47 x 0.98in (23.2 x 12.0 x 24.8mm)

• Gear Train: Metal/Nylon Hybrid

• Bushing/Ball Bearing: Ball Bearing

• Motor Type: Standard 3-Pole

• Connector Type: Universal

The Advantages of Digital Servos:

Digital servos offer extremely accurate and reliable centering, even in more economically priced servos.

Digital servos develop their power instantly. An analog servo develops its full power at its extreme movement. Digital servos develop their power as soon as they move, thus effectively making a digital servo stronger, even if its specifications are the same as a comparable analog servo.

Digital servos have extreme holding power. A digital servo stays in the position you command with all of its power, thus virtually eliminating the blow back found with analog servos.

Digital servos are precise. When used with a 2.4GHz digital radio, especially a fast radio such as Airtronics FH3, digital servos more accurately translate and hold your command inputs from your transmitter. You will feel more connected to your model than when using analog servos.

Digital servos are compatible with the newest high frame rate receivers. In some cases, analog servos simply won't work with these new, high frame rate receivers.
