Associated AE .15X Pull Start Engine - Universal Crankshaft

The Team Associated .12 and .15 pull start engines are ABC engines, having an Aluminum piston with a Brass sleeve, Chrome plated. They have TRUE 90 porting. If you've ever looked into the exhaust ports of some other engines, you've noticed that the exhaust port in the sleeve is not lined up with the exhaust port in the crankcase. It's cheaper to manufacture that way, but it also cuts down on horsepower. In Associated's engine's exhaust port, the sleeve lines up perfectly with the exhaust port in the crankcase. The 90 porting enables the intake ports to be correctly aligned for better air flow, too. All this means more horsepower to you.
