The Aero Sport 5 is an affordable entry-level 5-channel 2.4G FHSS-1 full-range radio system featuring a toggle channel for retracts or flaps, mechanical trims, servo reversing, and mixing for V-tail and Delta/Elevons (for flying wings). It includes an Airtronics RX500 (92124) 5-Channel 2.4G FHSS-1 full-range aircraft receiver, an on/off switch and a dry cell receiver battery holder.

And, because of this compatibility, the Aero Sport 5 works with all Airtronics 2.4G FHSS-1 aircraft receivers.
The Aero Sport 5 is compatible with the vast majority of both digital and analog servos on the market today. The included receiver uses Airtronics 'Z' connectors, which are universal within the industry today. In addition, the Aero Sport 5 features a charging jack, which allows you to use rechargeable batteries (available separately).

Items Required, But Not Included:
Transmitter Batteries: The transmitter requires 4 'AA' Alkaline batteries. Conversion to rechargeable batteries is easy and affordable using Ni-Cd or Ni-MH cells and the Airtronics 95034 Dual Charger for 4-6 Cell Transmitters.
Receiver Battery: The receiver's Nominal Input Voltage is 4.8-6.0v, therefore, the receiver can be powered using a 4-Cell or 5-Cell Ni-Cd or Ni-MH battery pack.
Servos: No servos are included. Analog or Digital servos can be used. We recommend using Cirrus or Airtronics servos that are within the specification range required for your model.
