*High-power servos such as this can draw as much as 5 amps! Make sure your switch harness, servo extensions and power source (receiver battery or BEC) can meet the demands of this servo. Normal "standard" radio switch harnesses and small 500mAh batteries typically cannot supply enough current for this servo, especially when multiple servos are used.

The Advantages of Digial Servos

Digital servos offer extremely accurate and reliable centering, even in more economically priced servos.

Digital servos develop their power instantly. An analog servo develops its full power at its extreme movement. Digital servos develop their power as soon as they move, thus effectively making a digital servo stronger, even if its specifcations are the same as a comparable analog servo.

Digital servos have extreme holding power. A digital servo stays in the position you command with all of its power, thus virtually eliminating the blow back found with analog servos.

Digital servos are precise. When used with a 2.4GHz digital radio, especially a fast radio such as Airtronics, digital servos more accurately translate and hold your command inputs from your transmitter. You will feel more connected to your model than when using analog servos.

Digital servos are compatible with the newest high frame rate receivers. In some cases, analog servos simply won't work with these new, high frame rate receivers.

Gave this servo a try in my Losi Comp Crawler. This thing is all that! Unreal power with very respectful speed, and typical Airtronics quality. Would be a great choice for steering in nitro or electric monster truck, or nitro truggy. (Posted on 5/12/11)

Unbelievable Torque Review by TQ

I bought the 780 servo based on a suggestion from Jon at store and installed it in my savage. I have been racing at revelation for past year and I'm getting more competitive and he said a higher torq digital servo would make the truck perform on the track. I could have bought a lower torq servo but I decided to go all out and what a difference. Speed is good but the way if handles the turns is better than anything I have ever seen. My times increased and I was fastest at track today. Awesome. (Posted on 9/4/10)
