RPM has been known for exceptionally strong, tight-tolerance rod ends (also known as “ball cups”). They should – they’ve been the strongest and best rod ends in the R/C industry for over 20 years!

Standard RPM rod ends have always been quite versatile but the use of 3.5mm turnbuckles is quite popular. Since their standard rod ends have too small of a hole for the larger turnbuckle to thread into properly, RPM decided to make it easier for customers by releasing these 3.5mm Heavy Duty Rod Ends that allow the use of larger than stock 3.5mm turnbuckles while still using a standard 4.3mm (.170”) diameter ball stud, common to most 1/10th scale Losi, Associated and some HPI vehicles. Now anyone can run a stronger 3.5mm turnbuckle size without having to sacrifice strength or durability with an inferior rod end!
