Stable Flyer Review by Heavy
Rating
I bought this electric Cub so I could fly in a smaller field near my house. Assembly is easy. Charge the battery while you install wings and youre ready for flight. The small wheels make grass takeoffs very hard but a short runway is all that is needed to get this Plane in the air. Make sure to check the tail wheel landing gear. Mine needed bent to make the plane taxi straight. Upon takeoff the plane performed well.Has plenty of power. The plane seems a little tail heavy which makes it climb faster than normal.I was able to shift the battery forward just enough to solve the problem. Once trimmed it flies very well. Does not fly as well as my 1/4 scale Cub but pretty good for a $200.00 plane. The quality of the plane is okay but I had to give 4 stars because the windows are peeling away from the foam just after a few short flights, and also the battery cover could be better. Im getting about 8 to ten minute flights with the stock battery even with alot of full throttle flying. This would make a pretty good first plane or if you are like me dont always have the time to get out the big boys. (Posted on 12/10/13)
Fun to fly, if it wasn't a lemon out of the box. Review by NiceDrms

Just bought piper a week ago, got home and put it together. The instructions are a bit vague so I had to go online for more info. Got it together and went out to taxi it around, did so for 10 min or so , no problems handles good. Went to a park to fly for the first time and upon the very first take off the tail wheel brakes off just under take off speed and the thing spins out and noses into a grass and dirt burm. The cowl shatters , the prop shaft bent a little bit and the nose creased a little. Soooo needless to say I'm not happy. I spent $250 on the thing and it brakes the first day. Not to we'll built, and to top it off HOBBY PEOPLE won't exchange it even though they sold it to me and it had a defect out of the box. They tell me it's not ther problem and that I have to go through the manufacturer.... WHAT A LOAD OF BS!!!!!!!!!! Never buy from there again!!!!!!!!! (Posted on 10/1/13)
good flyer, well built Review by Propnut48

Have had many a cub in the past and this one is a keeper. Flys about 10mins on the stock battery. I installed a 2200 pack from Hobbypeople and it balances alittle better and has about 20mins of flight time now. Fits perfection the battery bay. Only thing I did is add a pull handle from stealing tape to pull it out instead of yanking on the leads. Also added some 1mm thin carbon rod to the tail to stiffen it up and make it look more scale.Very nice plane! (Posted on 6/28/13)
Good flying 2nd plane Review by Blue

Flew great the first time out and has preformed well on 2nd flight. Going for third today. Quick on controls and responds well. Decent power. Good second aircraft. Be carefull with the battery hatch door as the latch is very fragile. (Posted on 4/26/13)
