Works Well Review by Coyoteles
Installed in my Souka Foam 3D plane. Instructions are not very descriptive but I was able to de-code them enough to get it working, definetly not begginer friendly. I only had to reverse the Gyro direction for the elevator, the rest were OK. I did the stick centering as described in the manual, but when switching to 3D (AVCS) mode the rudder and elevator would move all the way to ond end of their travel. Reading thru the troubleshooting tips, the "Flip the mode switch rapidly 2~3 times" tip caused them to center. I also beleive that the "Flip the mode switch" works to re- center the sticks. The Instructions say to never use your trim or subtrim, but I have found that you can use trim, them flip the switch a few time and all is well. FLIGHT: I left the sensitivity adjustments in the center and it flew well in 3D mode, would hold a knife edge all the way acros the field. Hover was not as good as I saw in the Youtube video, but was quite easy to do. Overall I like the unit and am planning on installing on a few different palne to try. Final note, my plane uses 2 Aileron servos, so I just hooked this unit up to one side and left the other direct to the receiver, this may be affecting the hover part of flight some, but it still flies beter that without the stabilizer. Good not great Review by Joe Magee
Easy to set up works geat in standard mode but 3 d mode is another story. You have to flip the switch back and forth quickly or the plane goes crazy when you flip 3 d mode. Even if you flip it before take off watch out I al,ost crashed twice so I don't use 3 d but it works great in regular mode
