Revell 1:32 Bell X-1
Plastic Model Kit
This is a Revell 1:32 Bell X-1 Plastic Model Kit. Test pilot Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier on October 14, 1947. This remarkable feat was made possible by the Bell X-1, an experimental supersonic aircraft which was introduced the previous year. Spanning only 28 feet (8.5 m) and measuring 31 feet (9.4 m) in length, the X-1's impact on the future of air and space travel proved immeasurable.
