flew maiden flight last night then flew 4 more times my first ducted fan! great high speed passes and flaots in for landings my only concern is sloppy tialiron not sure how to stiffen the shafts up? any ideas? (Posted on 5/21/12)

Pretty easy to build. Comes complete with everything except two servos. (You do have to supply the radio TX and RX.) I am very happy with how well this plane flies. This was my first EDF and it really does fly very well slow and fast. I am surprised how easy the landings are. I am very happy with this product! Hand launches are no problem with this plane. I've crashed it once, totally my fault, and I was surprised how little damage occured and how easy it was to repair. I would recommend this plane as a very good first EDF! (Posted on 1/19/12)

i am ecstatic about my purchase of the ef16. since the first hand launch, it has been the best i could have hoped for. there is plenty speed, enough umpf to get it moving very quickly, and the plane has a very nice glide for perfect landings each time. even in 15-20 mph winds i was still able to have good control of it. i was a little iffy about getting into edf's and was not sure i could handle the speed, but this plane allowed me to slowly get comfortable to full speed runs and it is just awesome. only one thing i wish it has is rudder control, but it should be an easy mod. i plane on buying another kit for the future because i will wear this one out. definitely a lifetime keeper if the foam could last that long. This plane could not fly better. The fastest EDF Jet I own and I fly it stock. The only suggestion I can make during the build is to reinforce the vertical area between the fuse and stabilator/taileron where the stabilator rod exits the bushing, as after numerous grass landings the foam gets pushed in a little and makes the tail sloppy. I wedged servo arms into the hole next to the bushing to stiffen them up and that solved the problem. This planes always goes with me to the field. (Posted on 8/12/11)

My first EDF, what a plane to start with. Went together very well. I painted mine in the scheme of the prototype (looks better than box scheme). As for flying, I can only say great. It is a blast. Get one you won't regret it, (Posted on 6/16/11)
