I have purchased two of these engines. These really deliver the power! I ran one of them for years and when I did eventually need an overhaul, the customer service was outstanding! I sent the engine in to manufacturer and they fixed all the problems free of charge, and paid the shipping charge as well. As far as reliability, always fast and easy starts, and power to match. You just can't beat this engine!

Because I would rather install engine weight vs dead weight lead for CG, I mounted this admittedly over-powered 1.80 in my 1.20 size 76" Tiger Moth, which otherwise takes literally Lbs of lead in the nose to get the correct CG. But what a SWEET running BIG engine! Break-In was easy, and it seems to like the 17 X 6 APC that I broke it in with. I do have to shoot 24 volts to my Sullivan Starter to turn this monster over, as 12 vlts is just not enough once the compression comes up upon break-in. This is only 1 of my Magnum 4S engines, and I am totally sold on 3 facts concerning the Magnum line: Hobby People's excellent Customer Service, The Quality of these engines is 100%, and the price can NOT be beat... Where else can you buy a high quality 4S Magnum engine for the same price as a "popular brand" 2 stroke? Thank you Hobby People! (Posted on 4/30/12)
