Better be RC savy Review by What 2 runs & broke already

Bought this boat for pool fun. after the 2nd charging the boat fell apart. 1st the motor/prop coupling screws were never tightened so the shaft slip off. Once I fixed that then steering went out, servo arm plastic broke from normal use, and crashed the boat . Velcro inside does not hold receiver in place and falls against steering servo arm. Battery charger is a 12 volt adapter to be plugged in to Auto cigarette lighter. Once you fix everything and modify it for real life play the boat is fantastic. (Posted on 8/1/14)
Fun while it lasted #2 Review by Rob

The boat was a blast for 15 mins. Never got wet on the inside and not the servo does not work. I went back to HP to exchange and they said I have to call the manufacture about warranty... BS.
I buy parts from my local HP every few days and the entire staff knows me. I have many RC Cars, Boats , Heli's... I know what I am doing. Why they wont offer customer service and trade it our is beyond me.
Thumbs down for HP. (Posted on 4/16/14)
5 stars after some "tweaks" but LOTS of fun and great value! Review by The Dr.

(Would get 5 stars if I didn't have to do some minor fixes and maybe I'm too picky) Got this boat after seeing the video on the Aquacraft website. Looked like fun so I got it. The hook and loop fasteners work great but the adhesive didn't stick to the hull so well. Cleaned hull and they stuck better. Motor wasn't really well aligned and needed to play with that as well to get more power to the prop. Cooling tube around motor wasn't making good contact and was fixed AFTER I started really running it but seemed OK before. I was just copying the pictures. You need to keep lube in the rudder shaft and driveshaft per instructions and that plus the innovative hatch covers makes it VERY WATERTIGHT! This little boat LOVES shooting through the waves and gets plenty of "AIR"! It has gotten better each time I use it. BUT, at the beach, wear your swim suit as it USUALLY rights itself but, getting rolled over several times in waves it MIGHT NOT roll back upright and you'll have to get it (Better yet, (I'll get in trouble for this) have your lovely GF get it.) In a lake, I don't think you could roll it if you tried and it turns on a dime (Or quarter with inflation)!

Antenna tip. Rather than folding the antenna end over and putting the silicone cap on, I made a pinhole through the silicone cap and ran the antenna THROUGH that. Snug, very waterproof and antenna isn't folded. Also, put a drop of glue where the antenna rod exits the boat as getting rolled over in the waves and hitting the sand can pull it out (bad) and water comes in (worse). Just stuff I learned and now you don't have to (:-D)

Remember, you really shouldn't run it in salt water, but I DO and it's a BLAST! Just clean boat very thoroughly and wipe Xmtr antenna before collapsing to get any salt spray off of it. I'm going to HP and get another battery! (Posted on 7/12/13)

Performance of the boat was good. But it broke within the first few days of use. Not built very well, but fun while it lasts... (Posted on 5/6/13)
