have two of these, bought one outright and one came with my new car, pairing is a snap and failsafe as well, just make sure you do it all before you close up your radio box (rookie mistake) the screen makes setup of your car a breeze, you can do it all in under 10 min, probably 5 on your second car, range is amazing and I love the fact it shows battery voltage so I know when to recharge my cells, only problem I have is when you turn and just let go of the wheel it doesn't transistion smooth back to center, not a big deal just keep hands on the wheel... great product at a great price... I had the MX3 and upgraded to the MX3X and there is a difference in my lap times. I didnt think it would be a big deal but it is. My first race and qualified for the Amain because the radio is almost real time. I had tighter lines around the corner and handling in air was definitely a quicker response to get the front wheel to tounch down perfectly on jumps. I would recommend this to pro's! Short sleek antenna and it could hang with the 4PK for half the price. I use FHSS2 for my bashers and FHSS3 in my racers. LOVE IT!!! -Blaze (Posted on 1/24/11)

I am not a racer, but this radio has is fantastic. Simple, fast and with the memory I now have 4 trucks programmed. Ive used traxxas radios mostly, and they are fine to start with, but the MX3X changes the way I drive rc. (Posted on 10/17/10)

This radio has everything, speed, ez programming, and it just feels right in your hand. I've had other radios, spektrum, futaba, and this is the best. If you want the best, go 3X. (Posted on 9/1/10)

I have the 3x in my slash and revo. Really really fast and feels good in hand. Wheel is comfortable and the radio just feels right. I have the fast rx and it makes the traxxas radio feel like its in slow motion. (Posted on 8/28/10)
