I bought these to replace the weak plastic ones. They are made of cast aluminum which is different than machined aluminum. Like the description says they're not as high of quality. Some of the threaded holes are not perfect and on one of mine it wasn't tapped all the way through stopping the screw from going in. I do not have a tap that small so I threaded the provided screw through the other end to force out the little bit of flashing from the last thread. Unfortunately the screws provided are very weak and with hardly no resistance the screw snapped the head off flush. Big problem. Luckily with a very small file I was able to file a slot into it and the surrounding aluminum. With the hub clamped in the vice and a pair of vice grips locked onto my small precision screwdriver I was able to unscrew it out of the hole. Luckily I had another screw that was strong enough to work out the flashing without breaking.

So conclusion the screws provided are very weak so be very careful with them or open the package at Hobby People and ask them to find you some different screws that fit. Maybe du-bro sells some that are better quality. I haven't been able to actually test them on the truck because my spur gear stripped out due to the hobby people salesman selling me the wrong pinion gear. The rage uses a special tooth pitch. It is called 48 metric pitch or .6 mod pitch. The only place I have found them at is Robinson Racing web site and I heard they use the same pitch as some of the Kyosho's and Tamayia's.
