I had the slash for 3 years and then got the blitz. The slash is a wanna be racer the blitz you can race and bash the hell out of it. The Slash sucks its not good for the track at all the only people that talk good about the slash is people that don't race or little kids grow up the rc 10 and blitz is way better get over it (Posted on 1/4/12)

We've been running this truck for about 2-3 weeks and the Blitz has held up very well. We are not intentionally hard on our RC trucks but they do get banged up and the Blitz has impressed me with it's durability. Haven't text the waterproofness of it, so can only give 4 stars at this point. (Posted on 10/11/11)

this blitz is a tough truck. i havent had any problems with the shocks and i beat the hell out of this truck. the chassis cracked by the servo but has not broke yet and it takes a beating. the center of gravity is a lot lower then the slash and i think it drive 10 times better. I had nothing but problems with my slash and have had good luck with this car. i have been racing rc for 6 years now and i know i am pretty good with tuning everything on these cars so i know that my setups were at best while racing these trucks. the traxxas motor dies a lot quicker then the blitz motor imo. only problem i have had with this truck is the outdrives from the diff wear out and so i heat treated them to make them harder and i have not had a problem since. All and all this truck is Awsome. Comparable to the Sc10 which i think dominates all. (Posted on 9/18/11)

the tires are very poor in their compound. springs are very weak. the slash is way better. the traxxas slash's chassis is very stong compared to the blitz. if you see traxxas's website, thier traxxas slash was notminated best electic truck of the YEAR! the rating was very well proven because these people were hobby experts. they been in the hobby for over 25 years so they no what there talking about! i have 5 slashes and one hpi blitz that i got an you cant compared the trucks. also the blitz have a very poor servo and esc. the motor overheats quickly and the motor has a very little lifetime! The axial and the a arms brake easily! and the shocks suck because they leak to much! i returned this and got a traxxas SLASH! i was way better than this cheap rc car! (Posted on 7/31/11)
