I use these servos on the Phase 3 Squall, F-16 and other home built profile jets.These servos seem very solid for their size and they center very well. I have stripped similar micro servos from different brands but these have proven to be very reliable. (Posted on 12/3/12)

The main difference between the hs-55 and the many direct Chinese cheaper similar servos is linearity and full swing limits. I find these servos move their limits fully and evenly which makes setting control surface adjustments easier. Our newer radios allow limit adjustments but you can't get much more throw from a cheaper servo because of its internal POTENTIOMETER /variable resistor. I buy and use both but in my opinion an HS-55 is better. (Posted on 11/9/11)
