This Sigma charger does just about every thing an $80-$90 charger would do. The only exception is its wattage is a touch lower. For the money. you can't beat it though.
It may have gotten a couple of poor reviews, but you should chalk those up under "OPERATOR ERROR", and not the chargers shortcoming. Errors codes when using it with other manufacturers equipment does not warrant this charger a poor rating. Also, one should try exchanging a bad unit, and see how the exchange process goes before they go and post a bad rating on a product.

An awesome charger. Really like the built in power supply, easy programming, compact size, and connector assortment board. So impressed, that I bought a second one. However, the start button didn't work on the second charger. I returned it to Hobby People and they promptly replaced it. The replacement works perfect. Out of all of the numerous items that I have purchased from Hobby People, this is the only item that was defective, of which it was promptly replaced. Great prices and outstanding service. it has most connectors you can expected
a few are missing for good reasons
EC3/EC5 are made by Losi a competing company.
and Traxxas Witch req a % IF they include it so to keep cost down they don't
the adapter is 5$ under 2$ if you make it your self.

When i first got the charger and tried to charge the small LIpos, it came up with an error code 0, this was not covered in the book that came with it. Turns out the charging harness i bought separately had the polarity reversed. Manual should have addressed an error code 0. Also there is no harness adapter for EC3 batteries with the unit, this should be in there. (Posted on 12/9/12)

Received the unit. It is very Nicely packaged with a great balance board. Upon attempt to charge the unit would display an "err 5" which is a system error message and that the unit is defective. Now I have to see if I can get it replaced. (Posted on 12/8/12)
