Nice quad Review by dcampos56

This is a nice quad both for indoors and outdoors. Miss the cable to connect to PC. I guess mine needs to be balanced a little. I wonder if I can switch the LiPo to a 11v one withouth change the motors. (Posted on 5/25/14)
not a toy Review by Jack

absolutely love this drone. Much different than a toy, much faster, more agile, and takes a lot more focus. 1 error and its in the ground. But, a lot of fun. practice on the quad first. (Posted on 2/6/14)
No support Review by Confused

Confused, you are correct. Our team is writing a set up sheet which should be done within a week which will be included in future Butterfly Quads, as well as being posted on line for existing customers. Our apologies for causing you trouble. Matt

No instructions on preflight set up. Very poorly documented and absolutely no customer support. The kids at hobby people don't know s#!t. They are as clueless as a swap meet seller. Last time I buy from these guys, but not the last Skyartec model. Its well built, just no clearly explained. (Posted on 1/30/14)
Great so far Review by LuapO

Well, if you can figure out the broken English in the manual, you might have luck getting it set up. Even Skyartec's videos are cryptic. The guy goes through the set up so fast and speaks so softly and non-English English that I still, after 5 hours can't get stable flight as I have it set up. No where on the net is a simple explanation available. BTW, I have been flying models for 24 years, not toys, but models. It is well made and very powerful. But f me if the transmitter/goofy setup sequence is even remotely clear. I have got it in the air but it is way too squirrelly to call stable. I get that mine is not commissioned properly, but HELP!

I do love the unit, it just needs more support. Also states somewhere online that it may be possible to upgrade with GPS but I found nothing concrete. Also, it mentions a 3-axis gyro and 3-axis accelerometer (stated 6-axis stabilization, but when you examine the board and components, it only has a compass built in to the receiver. I may be wrong, but sound like a steaming load of false advertizing to me. But I may be wrong.

With that criticism aside, I do like the solid construction and the quality components. (Posted on 1/29/14)
