Leave it to Traxxas to put the huge torque of a the Titan 550 motor into the 1/16 Grave Digger for high-powered monster performance! The Titan modified motor is designed for incredible mod-motor power output with virtually maintenance-free operation and long-lasting performance. The Titan 12T 550 motor's integrated cooling fan pulls cool air through the motor to keep temperatures down. A cooler running motor equates to faster speeds, longer runtime, and extended motor life. The XL-2.5 Electronic Speed Control offers high current handling, EZ-Set® one-button setup, and smooth high-frequency control. Three drive profiles, thermal shutdown protection, gold-plated connectors, and incredibly low resistance are all features you might expect to only be available on an expensive replacement speed control, but they're standard equipment with the 1/16 Grave Digger.

1/16 Grave Digger looks ready for anything because it is ready for anything! Fully waterproof electronics keep the fun rolling through water, mud and snow while lesser trucks stay on the bench. The patent-pending sealed receiver box houses Traxxas' micro AM receiver and can accept aftermarket receivers as well, without compromising the waterproof properties. The XL-2.5 electronic speed control and high-torque, digital micro servo are sealed against the elements giving you the freedom to go places other cars wouldn't dare to venture.

Traxxas Monster Jam models fully capture the aggressive styling of their full-size counterparts, right down to Grave Digger's misty graveyard graphics. And since 1/16 Grave Digger is Ready-To-Race, the durable polycarbonate body is trimmed, mounted, and decaled for you.

XL-2.5 Waterproof Electronic Speed Control

Designed and engineered by Traxxas, the XL-2.5 Electronic Speed Control delivers smooth throttle control with 550-size and smaller motors and is completely waterproof for all-weather R/C driving fun. This high-performance speed control is packed with impressive specifications that are normally only found on more expensive high-end replacement units. The XL-2.5 features three throttle profiles, Thermal Shutdown Protection, 6-8 cell NiMH compatibility, and built-in BEC. High-frequency operation combined with ultra-low resistance make the XL-2.5 an efficient and ultra-smooth fully proportional speed control. Traxxas Power Cell Series 1 NiMH Battery Pack

The 1/16 Grave Digger is fully assembled and Ready-To-Drive® with an included Power Cell NiMH battery and charger. Designed specifically for the high-power needs of Traxxas vehicles, this potent pack features heavy-duty construction, 16-gauge wires and Traxxas' exclusive High-Current Connector for efficient power transfer, run after run. A convenient wall charger is also included. Everything you need to power-up is in the box.

Dual Battery Compartments

The chassis' dual battery compartments let you add a second NiMH battery pack and Traxxas parallel connector (both sold separately) to nearly double 1/16 Grave Digger's run time for even more off-road adventure between charges.

Traxxas High-Current Connectors

Titan® 12-Turn 550 Modified Motor

1/16 Grave Digger includes a powerful Titan 12T 550 modified motor - the same motor used in Traxxas' larger 1/10 scale models! The Titan's over-sized armature (30% larger compared to 540-sized armatures) is equipped with 12-turns of pure copper wire for big torque and increased power-handling capabilities. Lower running temperatures are achieved with the integrated cooling fan. The Titan 12T requires very little maintenance and is designed for consistent torque and high speeds run after run, without fading. The Titan 12T is made for dirt-roosting torque, lightning-quick acceleration, big-air jumps, and just about any other 4-wheel fun that demands real horsepower.

Monster Jam Tires and Beadlock-Style Wheels

Tires developed specifically for 1/16 Grave Digger emulate the "hand carved" look of the full-size treads, and are molded in a unique compound that hooks up for maximum acceleration and great grip on a wide variety of surfaces including dirt, pavement, and rocks. New deep-dish wheels with bead-lock detailing complete the aggressive, authentic look.

Ball-Bearing Transmission with Slipper Clutch

1/16 Grave Digger's high-efficiency, heavy-duty transmission is designed for full-throttle fun with precision ball bearings and high-strength gears. An adjustable slipper clutch lets you tailor power delivery to suit the terrain and your driving style, and makes certain every watt of power is turned into pure performance.

Sealed Silicone-Filled Differential

An industry first! Only Traxxas offers the superior power-handling and tuning capability of a sealed differential in 1/16 scale. The heavy-duty, steel-gear diff is factory-filled with premium silicone fluid to prevent unloading and maintain maximum traction and control. It's a Traxxas innovation you won't find on any other mini-model.

Pivot Ball Suspension

1/16 Grave Digger features pivot-ball suspension for smooth suspension articulation and easy adjustment. Rubber-sealed ball bearings ward off dirt and debris as they increase precision and reduce friction, and the oversized 8x12mm inboard bearings maximize durability. For extra security, the heavy-duty axle carriers are designed so the universal-joint axles' crosspins are captured by the inner bearings—another example of Traxxas' attention to every detail.

Universal-Joint Driveshafts

1/16 Grave Digger is fully equipped with telescoping, universal-joint axles for optimum drivetrain efficiency and maximum power transfer. The true-curvilinear spline design operates freely, and the oversized U-joints set the standard for strength and high-power durability.

Four-Channel Micro Receiver

Traxxas' 4-channel micro receiver provides reliable reception as it saves weight, and dual channel-1 inputs allow you to install dual steering servos without the need for a bulky Y-harness. The receiver is fully protected from the elements by 1/16 Grave Digger's waterproof receiver box.

Waterproof Electronics

Mud. Water. Snow. 1/16 Grave Digger's waterproof electronics and fully sealed receiver box let you make tracks in conditions that leave other trucks parked at home. Traxxas' innovative, ground-breaking waterproof receiver box puts 1/16 Grave Digger in a league of its own. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a special watertight seal (patent pending). To protect the receiver from dust and water a custom shaped blue O-ring seals the receiver box. Thanks to the unique design, the receiver can be removed for service and even aftermarket receivers can be used, without losing the sealing properties of the box.

Digital High-Torque Waterproof Steering Servo

Small but powerful, the 1/16 Grave Digger's #2080 servo cranks out 41.7 oz.-in. of tire-turning torque with digital circuitry for responsive control—even in water, mud and snow, thanks to its O-ring-sealed waterproof construction.

Quick-Release Battery Doors

Grave Digger uses an innovative solution for easy battery installation. Quick-release battery doors snap open and closed in seconds for fast and easy battery installation. There are no clips to lose in the field, and fast battery changes during pit stops let you spend more time on the trail and less time on the bench.

Battery Compartment Vents

Resembling the exhaust ducts of a turbine powered jet, the futuristic battery vents are securely mounted on the chassis. In addition to offering entrance and exit cooling, the oversized openings incorporate latches that insert into the battery door clasps. The battery compartment vents symbolize the sleek and high-tech image that places Traxxas 1/16 scale vehicles in a class all their own.

Oil-Filled GTR Shocks™

1/16 Grave Digger's super-smooth oil-filled shocks damp the suspension and maintain control no matter how rugged the terrain. They are fully tuneable and include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and threaded spring pre-load collars for quick ride height adjustments.

Revo-Spec Suspension

A defining feature of the Grave Digger, expertly executed in 1/16 scale. The unique Revo®-Spec suspension places the shocks inboard on the chassis, away from dirt and debris, and amplifies the shocks' travel for incredible off-road capability without the weight of extra-long shocks. Installed Progressive-2 rockers provide linear travel; optional Progressive rockers are available to tune the 1/16 Grave Digger with damping and spring rates that increase as the suspension is compressed.

Progressive Rate Travel

With over 50mm of suspension travel, 1/16 Grave Digger offers the most articulation possible for bump and jump handling capability that leaves other trucks far behind. Tunable progressive damping rates, independent ride height adjustment, and the absolute highest level of control for any situation put Traxxas 1/16-scale models far ahead of the pack.

Rubber-Sealed Ball Bearings

Precision rubber-sealed bearings offer the ultimate in low-friction performance and maximum protection in dirty environments. They are used in all exposed locations on the truck and are virtually maintenance free.

Hex Hardware

Pro-quality, high-grade, metric hex-drive hardware is used throughout for extra strength, and easy maintenance and repair. The black-oxide rust-resistant finish provides a high-tech look and feel.

TQ Radio System

The included TQ radio system includes a high-power transmitter with a specially designed comfort grip, a precise high-torque steering servo, and a compact receiver. The perfectly balanced TQ transmitter features servo reversing, a low battery indicator, electronic trim control, and it is digitally proportional for precise steering and throttle control.
